Mary Hunter’s Recovery Group Tele-health services
MHRG TO GO serves as a remote behavioral health clinic, catering to individuals who prefer telehealth services and specific areas facing barriers to accessing traditional services. Challenges like transportation constraints, limited high-speed internet, and societal or cultural stigmas can hinder individuals from seeking help at fixed locations. Mary Hunter's Recovery Group offers telehealth services through a mobile clinic, partnering with healthcare providers, health departments, and organizations dedicated to serving underserved communities.
Intensive Outpatient Program
Mary Hunter's Recovery Group offers an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) that delivers therapeutic counseling in a group environment for individuals in need of structured substance use disorder treatment. Participants in the IOP interact with a therapist for a minimum of nine hours per week, completing a minimum of 30 sessions. These sessions are based on the Matrix Model curriculum, a well-established evidence-based approach. The focus is on developing early recovery skills, preventing relapse, and includes group therapy and counseling. Participants are required to complete readings, worksheets, and participate in various activities. Prior to starting the IOP, each individual undergoes a comprehensive assessment and receives a personalized treatment plan. This service is offered in Louisville & Lexington, Kentucky.

Case Management Services
Case management is a cooperative procedure that encompasses strategic planning, facilitation, coordination of care, assessment, and support to address the overall requirements of an individual. Case managers assist individuals in obtaining essential social, medical, educational, and various other services. This process involves thorough service planning in collaboration with the individual and their family, guaranteeing that all their needs are acknowledged and fulfilled. Mary Hunter's Recovery Group extends these services to all ten counties it operates in.
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy involves a client receiving personalized attention from a therapist, allowing for a strong connection to be built and for issues to be addressed together. MHRG utilizes evidence-based methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, reality therapy, rational-emotive therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and brief therapy. Individual therapy services are available at all MHRG outpatient locations, ensuring accessibility across the ten counties it covers.
We are currently welcoming clients with Kentucky Medicaid coverage as well as those who are self-paying for our services.
