 Mary Hunter's Recovery Group offers an Intensive Outpatient  Program (IOP) that delivers therapeutic counseling in a group  environment for individuals in need of structured substance use disorder  treatment. Participants in the IOP interact with a therapist for a  minimum of nine hours per week, completing a minimum of 30 sessions.  These sessions are based on the Matrix Model curriculum, a  well-established evidence-based approach. The focus is on developing  early recovery skills, preventing relapse, and includes group therapy  and counseling. Participants are required to complete readings,  worksheets, and participate in various activities. Prior to starting the  IOP, each individual undergoes a comprehensive assessment and receives a  personalized treatment plan. This service is offered in Louisville  & Lexington, Kentucky.
